The emperor’s new glove

I had a brief practice session in the back garden this evening (shortened by having to first cut the grass, then by the sun going down).

I tried the idea my golf teacher gave me of playing chip shots with a glove tucked under my left armpit. Except I couldn’t be bothered to get a glove, so just imagined a glove was there.

Almost every shot was hit nice and crisply…well, as far as you can tell with wiffle golf balls. The only mis-hits were about three fat shots, which was never the main problem with my chips shots anyway, and is a fault I know how to easily avoid (keep my head down and eyes on the ball position until the ball is long gone).

One little change = Big difference.

Nice.
