Outside awesomeness

DATE: Friday 28th April 2012
VENUE: Beckenham Place Park
ACTIVITY: Practice on grass

Clearly Wednesday’s lesson was A Very Good Thing(tm). After work today I managed an hour or so of practice in, what is currently unsual, good weather.

I took only my 7 iron and hit 80 balls. Of those 80 around 20-25 were mishits, with thin shots outnumbering fat shots which outnumbered slices (of which there were two or three – and even they didn’t banana off in to oblivion!).

The rest were good or OK and they SOARED high in to the air. In fact, there were a few slightly fat shots which still got nicely airborne.

I am most heartened by this.

Sadly, I’ve NO idea when I’m next going to get to actually play a round of golf…
